Translating texts is also part of my portfolio. I always try to incorporate the needs and wishes of my clients into the translations I provide, while maintaining the high quality standards I set myself both for translation and interpretation assignments. Content and linguistic style, reading flow, spelling and punctuation – a great translation is always a full package. I make sure to not only comprehend and transfer the content of your documents, but to also use the right terminology and put every comma where it belongs, because you should receive a translation that’s as good as the original.
I’m a publicly sworn translator for Baden-Württemberg. That means I’m also qualified to translate your birth certificate, marriage certificate or other official documents and contracts. Should you need translations from or into languages other than English or German, I’m happy to provide you with a colleague – being a member of the German association of interpreters and translators BDÜ, I have access to a vast network of qualified colleagues.
Your texts have already been written, but they still lack a final polish? I can help you by proofreading or editing your documents – depending on your needs and expectations.
When editing a text, it is considered in its entirety; language and style. I make sure that your message is brought across succinctly and the reading flow is smooth. Proofreading is less extensive than that; the text is only checked for grammar, spelling and punctuation.
You are not sure what exactly you need? Feel free to get in touch and we’ll find the optimal solution together.
