As an interpreter, my voice is one of the most important tools I work with on a daily basis. Those listening to me often cannot judge whether I am interpreting accurately – if they could, they wouldn’t need my help.

I can do a lot beforehand to increase confidence in my work (consultations, calls), but the only indicator in the interpreting situation to build confidence in me is my voice. Do I sound calm and composed? Is my voice firm and my intonation clear?

In order to improve, I decided to take part in voice workshops and voice training coaching in 2021. I was able to work intensively with my voice. I learned how to use it in different ways in order to achieve different effects – and it was fun! It was great not only speaking more and more, but also shaping my language, until I finally decided to become a voice-over artist in Heidelberg.

Since then, I have also been offering voice-over services for image films, explanatory videos, documentaries or recordings of audio books, telephone loops or other audio for companies, associations and other interested parties. Depending on the client’s wishesand budget, I either record in my home studio, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, or I work with a professional recording studio in Heidelberg. No matter which solution my clients choose, the quality is always the same. Fast and flawless delivery is a given.

Of course, I always take the time to consult potential clients regarding the possibilities of a voice-over for their project. I am also happy to provide references and examples of past projects on request.
